Private polytechnics also have the fastest calendar, and their admission is so easy and cheap compared to other polytechnics. However, school fees have been the major reason why students do not opt for private schools.

While private polytechnics might be the most expensive schools in Nigeria, there are still some private polytechnics whose school fees are cheap and affordable for Nigerian students.

Below are the lists of the cheapest private polytechnics in Nigeria with affordable school fees.

 1. Lens Polytechnic Offa. 

Lens Polytechnic is located in Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria. Their school fees excluding acceptance fee and other charges are between #75,000 and #90,000 per session.

2. Saf Polytechnic Iseyin.

Saf Polytechnic offers National Diploma (ND) programs that are duly accredited by NBTE. If you are from south-west Nigeria, then we recommend this school. Their fees are one of the cheapest private polytechnics in Nigeria, if not the cheapest.

Another private polytechnic that is cheap is Villanova Poly. This school is situated at Imesi Ile in Osun State, Nigeria. School fees are between #70k and #95k per session.

5. Crown Polytechnic.

Crown Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, is one of the best private polytechnics in Nigeria with fast academic programs. School fees is #60,000 per semester, and students are allowed to pay installments.

Novelty Polytechnic is one of Nigeria’s leading private institutions with cheap and affordable school fees. The school is situated on 1.2 km2 (122 hectares of land) at Km3, along Ilorin-Kaiama Road, Kishi, Oyo State, Nigeria. Their school fees for ND and HND are below #100,000 per session.

13. Igbajo Polytechnic.

Igbajo Polytechnic, Igbajo, Osun State, Nigeria, is one of the most well-established private polytechnics in Nigeria. It was established in 2005 at a temporary site located at Kiriji Memorial College, Igbajo. It has acquired a permanent site (50 hectares of land) along the Igbajo Imesi-Ile road, at a distance of 1 kilometer from Igbajo. 

Igbajo Polytechnic received approval from the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to establish itself as a polytechnic with effect from August 2009.
