Breaking!!! Nigerian Polytechnic to Suspend Student For Kissing, hugging wearing face cap and Driving Car to Campus

Federal polytechnic Ado
The authority of the federal polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state, has threaten to suspend any student who violates the polytechnic dressing code with effective from the 2021/2022 academic session.
This was disclosed in a memo released on Wednesday 20th April after a meeting by the governing council.
The school authority listed the offences and sanctions as stated below:
INDECENT DRESSING/POSTURE SANCTION
1. Tattered Jeans – One(1) Semester Suspension
2. Micro mini Dress – One(1) Semester Suspension
3. Tattoo – One(1) Semester Suspension
4. Unconventional style of Wearing Face cap – One(1) Semester Suspension
5. Jump Tops – One(1) Semester Suspension
6. Off shoulder Clothes – One(1) Semester Suspension
7. Earring for boys/ Cowries for girls – One(1) Semester Suspension
8. Crazy Hairstyle for men – Two(2) Semester Suspension
9. Transparent Wear – One(1) Semester Suspension
10. Dreadlocks – One(1) Semester Suspension
11. Coloured hairs – One(1) Semester Suspension
12. Hair braiding for Boys – Two(2) Semester Suspension
13. Nose, Mouth, Eye extra earring – One(1) Semester Suspension
14. Sagging – One(1) Semester Suspension
15. Bump-shorts – One(1) Semester Suspension
16. Crazy coloured braids for ladies – One(1) Semester Suspension
17. Backless cloth – One(1) Semester Suspension
18. Bringing Babies to classroom/Hostel – Ejection from the school hostel One(1) Semester Suspension
19. Nursing mother/ Pregnant student not allowed in the school hostel – – One(1) Semester Suspension
20. Bringing Car to the School – Impounding of Car/ One(1) Semester suspension
21. Intimate/ open embrace hugging – One(1) Semester Suspension
22. Openly Sitting on each other’s laps (Opposition sex) – One(1) Semester Suspension
However, the polytechnic students who spoke with POLYTV on the New policy urge the school authority to reconsider some of the protocols adding that students should be allowed to bring car to campus.
