ANALOG POLYTECHNIC.

Analog Polytechnic is the polytechnic that refused to upgrade despite the influence of technology. Analog polytechnics always like to stress their students. Analog Polytechnic is the polytechnic that releases and pastes admission lists inside the school. Analog Polytechnic is the polytechnic that still pastes examination results on notice boards and will lecture students with chalkboards. Analog polytechnic is a polytechnic that uses banks for payment of school fees.

DIGITAL POLYTECHNIC.

Digital polytechnics are polytechnics that are moving drastically with the use of technology. They are the polytechnic that partially lecture students on e-learning; payment of school fees is online; results are usually released online; registration is being done online. Clearance is online, and some examinations are usually computer-based.

Differences between Analog Polytechnic and Digital Polytechnic.

1. Analog polytechnics always stresses students, as you spend hours in the bank paying school fees and the same thing while trying to sign your receipts. 

2. Analog Polytechnic will release and paste an admission list on the notice board, prompting students to travel a thousand miles to the school to check their names.

3. Analog Polytechnic will paste results on the school notice board; this is very bad, as those who fail will definitely get bullied by their friends.

4. Analog polytechnics still use chalkboards to lecture students when almost all schools have upgraded to whiteboards.

5. Analog polytechnics still sell scratch cards as admissions forms. It is no doubt that your school is still analogue if it still sells scratch cards for the purchase of admission forms, even JAMB that does this has upgraded.

6. Analog polytechnics produced analog graduates. You wonder why some polytechnic graduates can’t even boot a computer system? It is not their fault; they were produced by analog polytechnic common CBT they don’t have.

DIGITAL POLYTECHNIC.

1. Admission lists are being uploaded online, so there is no need to risk your money and life to check the list.

2. Clearances are usually online. Admission clearance and semester clearance are all done online, as you will be told to upload your credentials. No need to queue in the sun trying to get yourself cleared.

3. Information is sent directly via SMS. Digital Polytechnic updates their students via SMS, not only via a circular or memo.

4. Results are always online. You don’t have to worry about other students peeking at your results, as only you can know what you score. 

5. Digital polytechnic graduates have “technical know-how” as they are exposed to technology.

6. Digital polytechnic doesn’t stress students as much as analog polytechnic.

7. Digital Polytechnic conducts CBT examinations.

8. Digital polytechnics lecture students with modern facilities, unlike analog polytechnics, where their lecturers lecture with 1960 textbooks and still brag about it.

9. Digital polytechnic lecturers usually have at least a master’s degree or PhD with many journals, while analog polytechnic lecturers only rely on their HND and first-degree certificates.

10. Students in digital polytechnics are more likely to be civilized than those in analog polytechnics.

11. Good structural buildings, accommodation facilities, classrooms, and well-equipped laboratories are embedded in digital polytechnic.
