Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Announces 2025/2026 Academic Calendar — Registration, Fees, and Key Dates

The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has officially announced the commencement of the 2025/2026 academic session, setting important academic and administrative dates for both new and returning students. According to the Academic Board’s ratified calendar, the first semester for the 2025/2026 session is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 27, 2025.
This announcement follows the Academic Board meeting held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, where the institution’s academic roadmap for the new session was formally approved. The release of this academic calendar signals the start of another productive academic year at one of Nigeria’s most reputable polytechnics.
MAPOLY 2025/2026 Academic Session Begins
The newly approved calendar mandates that all National Diploma (ND1) and Higher National Diploma (HND1) students—both Full-time and Part-time—should immediately begin their online clearance and registration.
The registration process includes the payment of acceptance fees and school fees, which must be completed before the official deadline. This initiative aims to ensure that all newly admitted students are fully integrated into the institution’s academic system before the start of lectures.

Important Registration Deadline
The Polytechnic management has emphasized that Saturday, December 6, 2025, is the final deadline for the completion of all First Semester registration activities.
This applies to all admitted students, irrespective of their admission batch. Late registration after the deadline will attract financial penalties ranging between ₦5,000 and ₦10,000, depending on the delay period.
Students are therefore encouraged to complete their payments and document verification early to avoid extra costs or administrative complications.
Commencement of Lectures
According to the approved timetable, lectures for the 2025/2026 academic session will officially begin on Monday, November 10, 2025, across all departments.
For students currently engaged in the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), the institution has provided a flexible learning structure consisting of seven (7) weeks of online classes followed by seven (7) weeks of physical lectures.
This blended learning model ensures that SIWES students stay academically connected while completing their industrial training requirements.
Key Events and Examination Dates
The Matriculation and Oath-Taking Ceremony for new students has been fixed for Wednesday, March 4, 2026. This event formally welcomes newly admitted ND and HND students into the MAPOLY academic community.
In addition, First Semester Examinations are scheduled to commence on Monday, March 9, 2026. The management has urged both new and returning students to adequately prepare ahead and maintain full class attendance as part of the requirements for examination eligibility.
Payment, Registration, and Institutional Guidelines
MAPOLY has emphasized that early registration remains critical for maintaining a smooth and uninterrupted academic calendar. Students are advised to:
Pay all acceptance and tuition fees promptly through the official portal at www.mapoly.edu.ng.
Complete their course registration and clearance within the stipulated time.
Avoid last-minute processing that may result in payment issues or loss of academic standing.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may attract late registration fees and potential academic disruptions.
