Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic (HUKPOLY) 2025/2026 Academic Calendar for ND & HND Students

Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic has officially released the approved 2025/2026 academic calendar for all students and staff of the institution.

The academic calendar, issued by the Office of the Registrar (Academic Division), outlines important dates for registration, commencement of lectures, examinations, board meetings, result processing and semester breaks for both first and second semesters.

According to the institution, the 2025/2026 academic session will begin with late registration from June 1 to June 19, 2026, while lectures are scheduled to commence on June 1, 2026.

The management also fixed August 3 to September 19, 2026, for first semester examinations, while the second semester examinations will run from December 21, 2026, to January 9, 2027.

Students are advised to take note of important academic activities including submission and moderation of question papers, board of studies meetings, academic board meetings and resit examinations.

The institution further announced that the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) will last for four months from January 11, 2027, while the Long Vacation Semester (LVS) is expected to run for six weeks from March 1 to May 8, 2027, subject to academic board approval.

Management urged all students and staff to strictly comply with the approved academic schedule to ensure a smooth and successful academic session.
