Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti (ADO POLY) First Semester Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session

The management of Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti (FEDPOLYADO) has officially released the approved First Semester Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session, outlining important academic, administrative, and examination activities for students and staff.

According to the released schedule, the first semester activities will span from November 2025 to June 2026, covering resumption dates, registration periods, lecture commencement, continuous assessments, examinations, and result processing timelines.

This calendar applies to ND I, ND II, HND I, HND II, as well as SIWES and non-SIWES students, and it provides a clear timeline that students are expected to follow to avoid penalties and delays.

Academic staff are scheduled to proceed on leave from Monday, 24th November 2025 to Friday, 9th January 2026, while students are expected to resume academic activities in January 2026.

Resumption and Registration Details

The polytechnic has fixed Monday, 12th January 2026 as the official resumption date for the 2025/2026 first semester for non-SIWES students. Registration for ND I, HND I, and ND II non-SIWES students will take place from Monday, 12th January to Friday, 23rd January 2026.

Lectures for non-SIWES students will commence on Monday, 19th January 2026, while SIWES students are expected to resume on Monday, 9th February 2026, alongside the commencement of their registration and lectures.

Continuous Assessment and Academic Activities

The academic calendar also highlights dates for continuous assessments. The first continuous assessment for non-SIWES students is scheduled to hold between Monday, 2nd March and Friday, 6th March 2026, while SIWES students will have theirs from Monday, 16th March to Friday, 20th March 2026.

New students will undergo orientation from Tuesday, 31st March to Wednesday, 1st April 2026, followed by matriculation on Friday, 3rd April 2026.

Late registration with penalty will begin on Monday, 6th April 2026, and all course registrations are expected to close by Friday, 10th April 2026.

Examination and Result Processing Timeline

Lectures will officially end on Friday, 17th April 2026, after which students will proceed to revision. The first semester examinations are scheduled to run from Monday, 20th April to Saturday, 9th May 2026.

Following the examinations, scripts will be marked from Monday, 11th May to Friday, 22nd May 2026, while auditing of scripts will take place from Monday, 25th May to Friday, 29th May 2026.

The processing of first semester results will occur between Monday, 1st June and Friday, 5th June 2026, with results consideration by the Expanded Committee of Deans scheduled for Monday, 22nd June to Friday, 26th June 2026.

Second Semester Resumption

The calendar concludes with the resumption of the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, 1st June 2026, marking the transition into the next phase of the academic year.

Students are advised to adhere strictly to the outlined dates, complete their registrations on time, and prepare adequately for assessments and examinations to avoid academic setbacks.
