Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin (Kwara Poly) Approved Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session
The management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, through the Office of the Registrar, has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The calendar covers academic activities for first semester, second semester, and third semester (for part-time students). According to the schedule, new students are expected to resume on October 6, 2025, while returning and new full-time/part-time students will commence lectures on October 13, 2025.
The academic year includes continuous assessments, orientation, matriculation, semester examinations, and semester breaks. The calendar also highlights important events such as Christmas/New Year break, SUG week, SIWES commencement, and deadlines for submission of results.
Examinations for the first semester will run from February 2, 2026, to March 13, 2026, while the second semester examinations will be held between July 6, 2026, and August 14, 2026. Part-time students will begin their third semester on August 17, 2026, with exams scheduled for October 12, 2026, to October 23, 2026.
The calendar is aimed at providing clear academic timelines to guide both students and staff for effective planning throughout the session.
