Kaduna Polytechnic has officially released the provisionally approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session, covering both Regular and Evening programmes. The calendar, approved by the Rector, outlines key academic activities for students across NDI, NDII, HNDI, HNDII, KPT-Diploma, NCE, B.Tech, PGD, and PHC programmes.

According to the institution, the academic schedule provides a comprehensive roadmap for lectures, registration, continuous assessments, examinations, semester breaks, and official meetings, ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated academic year.

The 2025/2026 academic session officially begins on Monday, 5th January 2026, with registration for new and returning students immediately following. Academic activities for the First/Third Semester will run through October 2026, while the Second/Fourth Semester will commence in June 2026.

Kaduna Polytechnic emphasized that students are expected to strictly adhere to the outlined timelines, especially regarding registration deadlines, continuous assessments, and examination periods, as failure to comply may attract penalties or affect academic progression.

The academic calendar also highlights important institutional activities such as matriculation for new students, Students’ Union Government (SUG) elections, academic board meetings, moderation of examination questions, placement of results, and annual leave for academic staff.

This structured calendar is aimed at enhancing academic efficiency, reducing disruptions, and ensuring timely completion of programmes across all faculties and departments.
