OSPOLY Releases 2025/2026 Academic Calendar — Check Resumption, Lectures, and Exam Dates
The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY) has released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. This calendar serves as an official guide for all National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students on full-time programmes, outlining every academic activity for the session.
According to the information published by the institution, the new session will officially begin in November 2025, and end in May 2026, covering resumption, registration, lectures, orientation, holidays, tests, and examination periods.
This detailed report gives a full breakdown of the schedule for both returning and newly admitted students of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
Resumption Dates for All Students
Fresh ND I, HND I, and NCE I students are expected to resume for the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, November 3, 2025, alongside NCE II students. Returning ND II and NCE III students, however, will resume later on Friday, January 23, 2026.
The management emphasized the importance of resuming early for proper registration and academic alignment.

Registration and Orientation Schedule
Registration for ND I, HND I, NCE I, and NCE II students begins immediately after resumption and continues for four weeks, from November 3 to November 28, 2025.
Orientation for new students will take place between December 1 and December 5, 2025. During this period, new students will be introduced to the school’s academic system, rules, and conduct before lectures officially commence.
Lecture Timetable and Holidays
Lectures for ND I, HND I, HND II, NCE I, and NCE II students will start from December 8 to December 19, 2025. After that, all students will proceed on a Christmas and New Year break from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026.
Lectures will continue from January 5 to April 10, 2026 for ND I, HND I, HND II, NCE I, and NCE II students. ND II students will begin their own lectures later, from February 9 to April 17, 2026, lasting ten weeks.
The institution also confirmed that NCE III students will embark on teaching practice starting January 9, 2026, and ending May 7, 2026 — a duration of thirteen weeks.
Matriculation, Mid-Semester Tests, and Examination Periods
The matriculation ceremony for ND I, HND I, and NCE I students will hold between April 6 and April 10, 2026.
The mid-semester tests for ND I, HND I, HND II, NCE I, and NCE II will take place from March 9 to March 13, 2026, while ND II students will have theirs between March 23 and March 27, 2026.
After the test weeks, students will have a one-week revision period from April 13 to April 17, 2026, before the commencement of examinations.
Examinations for all ND I, ND II, HND I, HND II, NCE I, and NCE II students will begin on April 20, 2026, and end on May 8, 2026.
