In an official public notice released by the Office of the Registrar on 18th May 2026, the institution informed all alumni and graduates that their certificates are now available for collection at the school registry.
According to the management, graduates are advised to visit the institution and process the collection of their original certificates within the approved six-month grace period starting from the publication date of the notice.
The institution warned that graduates who fail to collect their certificates before the end of the grace period will be required to pay late collection penalty fees depending on the number of years spent after graduation.
OGITECH stated that graduates who completed their studies between 0 and 1 year ago will collect their certificates free of charge.
Graduates who have spent between 2 and 5 years after graduation will pay a penalty fee of ₦50,000.
Those who graduated between 6 and 10 years ago will pay ₦100,000 as a late collection charge.
Graduates within 11 to 15 years after graduation will be required to pay ₦200,000.
Meanwhile, graduates who have stayed 16 years and above without collecting their certificates will pay ₦300,000.
The management emphasized that the new fee structure is aimed at encouraging graduates to claim their certificates on time and maintain proper institutional records.
To ensure a smooth collection process, graduates are expected to present all necessary clearance documents alongside valid means of identification at the Registry Department.
