The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. The institution is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its Undergraduate Degree, National Diploma (ND), Pre-HND, and HND programmes.

According to the admission notice released by the institution, candidates seeking admission into degree programmes must have a minimum UTME score of 200, while candidates applying for ND programmes must score at least 160 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

AFIT also stated that candidates applying for degree programmes are expected to make the institution their first choice before the application deadline.

AFIT 2026/2027 Admission Requirements

• Degree Programme: Minimum UTME score of 200
• ND Programme: Minimum UTME score of 160
• Deadline for change of institution to AFIT as first choice: 3 July 2026 (for degree programmes)

AFIT Post-UTME Application Fees

The institution stated that applicants are required to pay the following non-refundable fees:

• ₦2,000 for Post-UTME screening for B.Sc/B.Eng and ND programmes
• ₦10,000 for application into Pre-HND and HND programmes
