Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara Opens Admission for 2026/2027 POST UTME, ND and HND Programmes

The management of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara has officially announced the commencement of admission applications into its National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Weekend Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the admission notice, suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into ND (Regular I & II), HND, and Weekend programmes across various schools and departments in the institution.
Available Courses for National Diploma (ND) Regular I & II Programmes

Method of Application
Interested applicants are required to follow the procedures below:
- Log on to the official admission portal and click on ND, HND, or Weekend Application Form.
- Candidates are to pay a non-refundable application fee as follows:
- Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) for ND Regular I
- Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000.00) for ND Regular II, HND, and Weekend Programmes
- Applicants are to complete and submit the online application form with the required information.
- Candidates should print two copies of the online acknowledgement form to conclude registration.
Entry Requirements
National Diploma (ND)
Candidates applying for ND programmes must possess:
- Credits in five relevant O’Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Prospective ND applicants must have sat for and obtained a score of not less than 100 marks in the 2026 UTME.
Higher National Diploma (HND)
Applicants seeking admission into HND programmes must possess:
- ND result obtained from an NBTE accredited Polytechnic in a relevant discipline with at least one year Industrial Training experience.
- Candidates with pass grades in ND may be considered with at least two years post-qualification industrial experience.
- Applicants must also satisfy the basic requirements for ND admission.
Important Notice to Applicants
The Polytechnic advised candidates who did not initially choose Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara as their first choice institution to visit the official JAMB portal and apply for a change of institution.
Candidates are also advised to ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website.
Screening Exercise Requirements
The screening exercise will take place soon, and candidates are advised to come prepared with the following documents:
- Four recent passport-sized photographs attached to application/screening forms and acknowledgement cards
- Bursary receipt for payment of forms
- Certificates/Statements of Result
- Certificate of Local Government of Origin
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
Registrar’s Endorsement
The admission notice was signed by Mr. Efedi Chukwuemeke, Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council of the Polytechnic.
The advert also featured the Rector of the Polytechnic, Professor Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri.
Prospective students are encouraged to complete their applications early and prepare adequately for the upcoming screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
