Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology (NILEST) 2024/2025 ND and HND Admission 

This is to inform the general public that the admission exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session commenced on Monday 11th November, 2024 to Monday 6th January, 2025. Interested candidates are advised to visit the Institute Portal (http://nilest.admissions.cloud/)  to fill the form.

ADMISSION INFORMATION/GUIDELINE

NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Admission into the National Diploma (ND) programmes are strictly through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). In addition, applicants must have the following:

1. 150 score in the relevant subjects for National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology (NDSLT)

ii. 140 score for National Diploma in Computer Science (NDCS)

iii. 130 score for National Diploma in Leather Technology (NDLT), and National Diploma in Polymer Technology (NDLT) respectively.

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

i. JAMB Admission Letter

ii. ND certificate/statement of result

iii. Five (5) credits in relevant subjects.

INSTITUTES’ DIPLOMA ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates interested in Institutes’ Diploma admission must have five (5) credits in relevant subjects.

Note: In addition to the above, the institute runs specialized and customized short-term skills acquisition training programs in Footwear and Leather Goods Manufacture for individuals and corporate bodies. These programs are run for between 3 to 12 weeks.
