Federal Poly Ede SUG Secures Major Wins for Students — Results, ID Cards, NELFUND Student Loan, and Campus Sanitation Get Immediate Action

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Federal Polytechnic Ede has announced significant progress following a meeting with the school management held on October 3rd, 2025.

According to the SUG President, Comr. Ayanyemi Damilare Marvellous (ROYAL), the dialogue yielded positive resolutions on key issues affecting students.

Firstly, the long-awaited release of exam results is now underway. The delay was attributed to vacant positions for Deans and Heads of Departments, but with new officials now inaugurated, result processing has officially resumed and students are to expect updates shortly.

On NELFUND disbursement, the SUG confirmed that students who are yet to receive payment should promptly submit their details to the Students Affairs Office. Meanwhile, the application portal remains open as more approvals are expected soon.

The management also assured that student ID cards will be ready for collection next week.

Addressing concerns over scholars’ benefits, the leadership confirmed that the matter has been escalated to both the school authorities and the Alumni association to ensure beneficiaries receive their funds without further delay.

Environmental concerns were also discussed, as management promised immediate action on sanitation and bush clearing across campus to enhance hygiene and safety.

Comr. Royal reaffirmed the Union’s commitment to student welfare, urging all students to remain patient as these resolutions take effect.
