Lens Poly Rector Receives Fedpoffa Team on Congratulatory Visit

In a gesture of goodwill and collaboration, Dr. Mrs. Mulikat Aliyu, the newly appointed Rector of Lens Polytechnic Offa, welcomed a delegation from Federal Polytechnic Offa today at her office. The visit, led by Dr. P.O. Egbele, the Deputy Rector Academics of Federal Polytechnic Offa, was aimed at congratulating Dr. Aliyu on her recent appointment and fostering the strong ties between the two institutions.
Dr. Egbele conveyed warm regards from the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Offa, Dr. K. Kadiri, who expressed gratitude for the positive impact Dr. Aliyu had during her tenure as the Deputy Rector. “We are thankful to God for your appointment,” he remarked, emphasizing the importance of the good foundations Dr. Aliyu laid in her previous role.
Before her current position, Dr. Aliyu served diligently as the Deputy Rector Academics at Federal Polytechnic Offa, where she was known for her commitment to academic excellence and institutional development. Her transition to Lens Polytechnic Offa marks a new chapter in her illustrious career following a successful retirement from her previous institution.
The Proprietor of Lens Institutions, Dr. Yisa Azeez, praised the Federal Polytechnic Offa team for their thoughtful visit. He described Dr. Kadiri as a leader who is quick to recognize and celebrate achievements, noting the significance of such collaborative efforts in advancing educational standards.
In her response, Dr. Aliyu expressed her gratitude to the visiting team for their kind words and support. “Your presence here today signifies our shared commitment to excellence in education,” she stated. She also thanked Dr. Azeez for entrusting her with the responsibilities of the Rector and prayed for continued blessings on the institution.
The delegation from Federal Polytechnic Offa included notable members such as Mrs. J.F. Egbele, Deputy Registrar of Degree Programs; Mrs. Summonu Ojubanire Manager of Bakery; Mrs. Bamigboye Bridgette, Secretary to the Deputy Rector Academics; and Mr. Olanerewaju Emmanuel, Deputy Rector’s driver.
Also present at the reception were key management staff from Lens Polytechnic, including the Registrar, Mr. Sarafa Olalekan Hammed; Deputy Vice Chancellor of Lens University, Mr. Dunmoye Akeem; DSP Mr. Fatal Azeez; and Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Nasif Agbolahan.
The visit underscores the importance of collaboration and mutual support among educational institutions, as they work together to enhance learning environments and outcomes for students in Nigeria.
