Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic 2025/2026 School Fees Schedule Released

The Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has officially published the approved school fees for the 2025/2026 academic session for all categories of students — indigenes, other Nigerians, and non-Nigerians.

According to the circular released by the Office of the Registrar, students are advised to make payments only after obtaining clearance or authority from their departments. The new schedule applies to all ND I, ND II, HND I, and HND II students, including those in extra semesters or sessions.

This update provides transparency and guidance for new and returning students to plan their academic budgets accurately.

Acceptance Fee and Payment Procedure

All new students are required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦15,000, which is non-refundable and payable at any commercial bank in Nigeria through the Remita payment platform.

After successful payment, students must authenticate their receipts at the Bursary Department, where a verified e-receipt will be issued. The institution warns that any loss of receipt attracts a ₦1,000 fine.

Step-by-Step Payment and Verification Process

Obtain Clearance from your department before payment.
Visit www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng to create or verify your student account.
Login to your portal using your JAMB registration number or admission number.
Generate a Remita Invoice for acceptance or school fees payment.
Pay at any commercial bank in Nigeria using the Remita platform.
Print your Remita e-Receipt and acceptance slip for record-keeping.
Submit two copies of your Remita receipts to your department for authentication.
