Kano State Polytechnic Takes Swift Action After Shocking Attack on Exam Officer

In response to a recent disturbing incident, the management of Kano State Polytechnic has assured staff and students that immediate steps have been taken to address the situation. On the 14th of January 2025, an attack occurred on an examination officer within the institution’s premises, resulting in the officer sustaining injuries. The officer was promptly rushed to a hospital for treatment by the Polytechnic’s management.
The institution has expressed deep concern over the attack, acknowledging the distress it has caused among staff and students. A statement from the Polytechnic’s management emphasized their commitment to ensuring the safety of everyone on campus. “We are working closely with relevant law enforcement agencies to investigate this matter, and additional security measures are being implemented to protect all members of our community,” said the statement.
The Polytechnic has urged everyone to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding, while promptly reporting any suspicious activity. The management reassured the community that justice will be pursued, and the safety of students and staff remains a top priority.
This proactive response aims to uphold the security of the institution while ensuring a peaceful and secure learning environment for all the polytechnic students and the polytechnic community.
