Bida Poly SUG Urges Students to Pay Fees Before April 11 or Miss Exams

The Student Union Government (SUG) of the Federal Polytechnic Bida has issued an urgent call to all students to pay their school fees and complete course registration before Friday, April 11, 2025, or risk being barred from the forthcoming examinations scheduled to begin on Monday, April 14.
In an official statement signed by the SUG President, Comrade Isaac Isreal, and General Secretary, Comrade Aminat Owolabi, the union expressed concern over the large number of students who are yet to pay their fees. They acknowledged the current economic hardship but stressed the importance of meeting the deadline to avoid missing out on the exams.
“For those who may not be aware,” the statement reads, “the school management has provided the option of installment payments, allowing students to pay 60% in the first semester and 40% in the second semester. However, the portal will officially close by 4 PM on Friday, April 11.”
Students are advised to pay at least 60% of their fees and complete registration before the deadline. The union also urged students who have paid but not registered to do so immediately.
The SUG emphasized that proof of payment, student ID cards, and exam cards will be required to sit for the exams.
This latest development comes as part of efforts to ensure smooth academic activities and uphold examination integrity across the institution.
