Auchi Polytechnic Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 Session

The Academic Affairs Division of Auchi Polytechnic has released the proposed academic calendar for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session (Morning Programme). According to the schedule, activities commence as early as August 2025 and run through April 2026.

The calendar outlines resumption dates for new and returning students, registration timelines, lecture periods, industrial training returns, holidays, examinations, and board meetings for result considerations.

ND I students are billed to begin their four-month Industrial Training (IT) on August 7, 2025. Departmental, school, and academic board meetings for the consideration of the 2024/2025 second-semester examination results will hold between August 19 and 27, 2025.

New students are expected to resume on October 5, 2025, with registration beginning the next day. Orientation is scheduled for October 8 and 9, while returning students will resume on October 12. Lectures for all students will officially start on October 13, 2025.

ND II students returning from IT will begin lectures on November 3, 2025. Mid-semester tests are scheduled for November 20, followed by the mid-semester/Christmas break on November 30, 2025.

Students will resume for the continuation of the semester on January 4, 2026, while lectures will continue from January 5. Registration for all students ends on January 31, 2026, with matriculation for freshers holding on February 6.

The School of Arts and Industrial Design will commence first-semester examinations on February 23, 2026, while other schools follow on March 2, 2026. All examinations will end on March 26, and students will vacate hostels on March 27, 2026.

Board meetings to consider first-semester examination results will take place between April 16 and April 29, 2026.
