Samuel S. Dame Elected Head of Banking & Finance at Federal Polytechnic Bali

Federal Polytechnic Bali has elected Mr. Samuel S. Dame as the new Head of the Banking and Finance Department. The election, held today at the institution’s Executive Lecture Theatre, saw Mr. Dame securing all six votes cast.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Dr. Yahaya Tukur, announced the results, stating that the election was conducted in line with the Polytechnic Act, with the Academic Board directing the process. Mr. Dame will serve a three-year tenure.
In his manifesto, Mr. Dame outlined his vision to transform the department into a hub for financial education, research, and industry-driven innovations. He pledged to enhance teaching quality, promote impactful research, and strengthen industry partnerships.
Dr. Tukur confirmed that Mr. Dame had won with 100% of the votes and officially declared him the elected Head of Department. The electoral committee also included Dr. Abdullahi Sani, Dr. Florence O. Nnaji, Engr. Suleiman Mohammed, Gowon David, Umar Adamu, and Baba M. Mustapha.
