Polytechnics that Offer Daily Part-Time (DPT) and Evening Programs

The daily part-time or evening program is a full-time program suitable for students who didn’t sit for Jamb or meet up with the school’s cutoff mark. Lectures are held every day for the daily part-time and evening students.

However, for the evening program, lectures mostly start from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and sometimes end at 8 p.m., depending on the school.

The daily part-time and evening programs are the same as the full-time programs, and the major differences are the lecture periods, school fees, and class allocation.

Daily part-time and evening programs have the highest population of students because the admission requirements are easy and the cut-off marks are usually low compared to the full-time programs.

Nevertheless, not all polytechnics in Nigeria offer the daily part-time program, also known as the evening program.
