OSCOTECH Esa Oke Poly Students Celebrate First-Ever Ojude Oba in Grand Style

Students of Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH), Esa-Oke, made history yesterday as they held the maiden edition of Ojude Oba within the institution — a cultural celebration that blended rich tradition with youthful creativity.
The event, described by many as colorful and lively, saw students step out in stunning traditional attires, showcasing Yoruba heritage while maintaining modern fashion steeze. Music, dance, and cultural displays lit up the campus, drawing admiration from staff, fellow students, and community members who witnessed the occasion.
According to the student organizers, the celebration was not only to honor culture but also to foster unity among the student body while connecting the younger generation to their roots.
Many students expressed joy that OSCOTECH now has its own Ojude Oba, noting that it would become an annual tradition to celebrate culture, fashion, and togetherness on campus.
The inaugural Ojude Oba has set a new tone for cultural appreciation at OSCOTECH, with participants hopeful that future editions will be even bigger and better.
