13 Things You Should Never Do to Please a Man Because of Love in a Relationship

In order to live a fulfilled life, there are some things a woman should never do to please a man because of love in a relationship. Love is powerful and beautiful, but it shouldn’t dictate the way you live your life and your every move.

In my previous post, we talked about things that men must never do to please a woman; therefore, it will be partial if we do not let women know their limits when it comes to love and relationships.

If you want to live comfortably, here are the important things you should never do to please a man:

1. Share Your Nudes.

No matter how strong your love and trust for a man are, sharing your nude pictures to please him is a big no. The assurance that you will get married to him is 50/50, so you don’t know what will happen if you don’t end up together.

It may be normal for a guy to ask for your nudes, and it is your right to say “no,” no matter the pressure or love you may have for him. Never share your nudes, make sex tapes, or allow him to take your unclad pictures because you love him. A man who respects you won’t demand your nude photos.

2. Have Unprotected Sex with Him.

The consequences of sex are greater than the few minutes of enjoyment. You can’t afford to risk your future to please a man because of love. If he can’t wear protection, never have unprotected sex to please him. It could lead to an unwanted pregnancy, which might put you to shame, or even an abortion that may cost your life.

Unless you are married, always make use of protection. Make this a priority at the early stage of the relationship to avoid touching stories.

3. Allow Him to Control Your Life.

Being submissive to a man is a great way to show him respect; however, don’t ever allow him to have total control over your life or be the one to dictate what or what not to do. Being in a relationship shouldn’t silence your voice or limit your freedom of expression and communication. When your man crosses his limits, make him aware immediately. You should be the one in charge of choosing your path in life. You are a grown woman, and you know what is best for you.

4. Clean Chores for His Family.

Every woman hopes to be loved by her man’s family; nevertheless, going to your boyfriend’s family house and assisting them with chores is something you must never do. No matter how you see it, this is neither your responsibility nor your duty, and you must never do this to please a man out of love. Remember, you are his spouse, not a slave.

5. Get Pregnant for Him.

In addition to number2 above, if your man wants to have children, that’s a great idea, but if you are not comfortable with the idea, you can’t get pregnant to please him. Perhaps it is unwise to get pregnant for a man with the expectation that that will keep him. Unless he is ready to walk down the aisle with you and tie the knot with you, you can’t get pregnant to please him.

6. Pay the Bride’s Price.

Love is so sweet, and it cares for everything; however, paying your bride price is the duty of your man. Although you can assist him as a relief, carrying all the necessities yourself because he’s broke and you love him is something you must never do, perhaps if you want him to value you. You can’t pay your own bride’s price; it’s his duty.

7. Chase Him.

By nature, men are the ones that chase women, and why should you be chasing someone who is supposed to love you? I understand you may have a crush on that guy; you may love him so much, but approaching him and telling him you love him and want a relationship with him is an important thing that you must never do. It is his responsibility to chase you, love you, call you, and text you. These are his duties from the very moment he met you and decided to start a life with you.

Real love doesn’t need to be begged for. You can’t force him to love you the way you do, beg him to choose you, or stay in your life.

8. Live A Fake Life to Please Him.

Never pretend to be someone you are not to please a man. The person you are meant to be with should be someone you can show your true self to and can’t hide from, even if you try. If you have been pretending to be someone you are not, then you are with the wrong person. No matter how much you love and care, never fake your life to please a man.

9. Change Your Appearance.

If your boyfriend wants you to dress a certain way and you don’t like it, or if he pressures you to get surgery to look like someone else, then you don’t need him. It’s your body, and you are in charge of it. If he seems not to be interested in your natural beauty, then he should look for someone else. Never alter your appearance to please a man, especially the ones you are not comfortable with.

10. Sacrifice Your Career for Love.

Never abandon your career for the sake of love. Your future is more important than love. Besides, love can fade, but your future is very certain. If your dream is to study abroad, you shouldn’t throw that in the trash because of the love of pleasing a man.

There is no assurance of him marrying you, and you can’t afford to lose this opportunity because of love. When it’s time for school, don’t go and cook for a boyfriend. Be with someone who will be your cheerleader instead of discouraging your ambition and adding to your headache.

11. Move into His House.

I know how sweet it is to love someone and be loved in return, but you should never move into your boyfriend’s house because you love him or to please him. If he brings up the idea of you moving to his house, tell him you can’t until he pays your bride’s price and does the needful.

12. Sleep with Older Men to Pay His School Fees.

People can do crazy things for the sake of love anyway, and one of the biggest mistakes you must avoid is pleasing a man by sleeping with older men to pay his school fees or sponsor his education. If the reason you are sponsoring him and investing your savings in the relationship is for him to marry you in return, I’m sorry you might get disappointed later because people can change at any time.

It is okay to assist a man when he’s down, but sponsoring a man, paying his bills, and being his ATM machine out of love is something you must never, ever do.

13. Give Him a Blowjob.

If your boyfriend asks for a blowjob or oral sex and you find it disgusting, make him aware immediately that things like this irritate you and that you hate it with passion. Do not risk it because you love him or want to please him. Displeasing yourself to please a man is stupidity, not love.

In summary, love is powerful and sweet; nevertheless, every woman should know her limits in a relationship. The fact that things are done for the sake of love does not guarantee that they are the right thing to do.
