Osun State Polytechnic Iree Issues Urgent Deadline for Acceptance Fee Payment — See Date, Penalties, and NELFUND Student Loan Support

Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY Iree), has released an important update for all newly admitted students regarding the payment of acceptance fees for the 2025/2026 academic session. The institution warned that candidates who fail to pay before the set deadline will automatically lose their admission slots.

In a memo signed by the Registrar, Abiodun O. Oloyede, and dated October 31, 2025, the management observed that several admitted students have only accepted their admission offers on JAMB CAPS without making the mandatory acceptance fee payment to the school.

According to the Registrar, acceptance on JAMB CAPS alone is not enough to validate admission until the acceptance fee has been paid directly into the institution’s account. The memo emphasized that all affected students must proceed to pay and complete their faculty-level screening immediately.

Students have been given up to Wednesday, November 12, 2025, as the final deadline to make their payments. The management further warned that any candidate who fails to pay before this date will forfeit their admission, as their slot will be offered to those on the waiting list.

The statement also encouraged admitted students to take advantage of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), introduced to help students manage financial difficulties and support tuition payments. The loan program is designed to reduce the burden on students struggling with school fees and acceptance fee payments.

Students are urged to visit the school’s admission office or their respective faculties for further details on the payment process and screening requirements.

The Registrar concluded by advising all newly admitted students to strictly comply with the memo’s directives in their best interest, stressing that failure to do so could lead to automatic loss of admission status.
