NYSC DG Highlights Key Values Every Corps Members Must Follow for Career Success

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has called on Corps Members to embody the scheme’s core values of patriotism, integrity, transparency, efficiency, and commitment throughout their service year and beyond.
Speaking during the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course in Rivers State, Nafiu emphasized the importance of allowing these principles to guide every action and decision, urging participants to make meaningful contributions to national development.
Commending the young Nigerians for responding to the national call to serve, the NYSC DG highlighted that their active participation is crucial in fostering societal progress. He encouraged them to leverage the skills and experiences gained during the service year to positively impact communities across the country.
Earlier, the NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe, presented a camp situation report, noting that the 2,586 Corps Members demonstrated high levels of discipline, dedication, and patriotism during the orientation.
The address reinforces the NYSC’s ongoing commitment to instilling good virtues and a sense of national duty among Nigerian youth, preparing them to contribute effectively to the nation’s growth and development.
