NYSC Opens 2025 Batch C Remobilisation Portal for Absconded Corps Members

NYSC Opens 2025 Batch C Remobilisation Portal for Absconded Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps has announced the opening of its online registration portal for the 2025 Batch C remobilisation exercise, targeting corps members who absconded during their service year.

In an official notice released by the scheme’s management on Monday, the NYSC disclosed that the remobilisation portal will be accessible from December 16 to December 23, 2025. The exercise is strictly for former corps members who disengaged from the programme without official approval and now wish to complete their mandatory national service.

According to the statement, eligible applicants who received monthly allowances during their initial service period are required to refund the payments before their remobilisation can be processed. The scheme emphasised that all refunds must be made exclusively through the official NYSC dashboard, warning against the use of third-party platforms or unauthorised payment channels.

The NYSC also clarified that corps members who applied for the 2025 Batch B remobilisation but were unable to complete their documentation in their assigned states will need to submit a fresh application under the 2025 Batch C exercise.

Management urged all affected corps members to carefully observe the registration timeline and comply fully with the outlined guidelines to avoid disqualification or delays in processing their applications.

Meanwhile, the scheme recently confirmed the release of deployment details for prospective corps members under the 2025 Batch C mobilisation. Call-up letters have been made available for printing, with some candidates posted to Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory scheduled to attend orientation camps in neighbouring states due to capacity considerations.

According to the NYSC, some corps members deployed to Lagos will undergo orientation in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun and Osun states, while those posted to the FCT will attend camps in Kaduna, Niger and Nasarawa states.

The NYSC further noted that online registration for the 2025 Batch C mobilisation opened on November 4 and closed on November 9 for both locally trained and foreign-trained graduates, in line with its official mobilisation timetable.

The remobilisation exercise forms part of the scheme’s ongoing efforts to maintain discipline, accountability and fairness within the national service programme, while providing eligible former corps members with an opportunity to lawfully complete their service obligations.
