Kano Poly Hails Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf for ₦139 Million Campus Upgrade Project

Kano State Polytechnic has commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his unwavering commitment to improving educational infrastructure across the state, particularly at the institution.
The Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, FCA, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Governor on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students, following the approval of ₦139,124,882 for the construction of ring drainage and interlocking tiles at the School of Technology.
Dr. Farouk noted that the new project comes shortly after the successful completion of asphalt overlay and general renovation works at the same school, describing the gesture as a clear reflection of the Governor’s dedication to building a modern and conducive academic environment.
“This investment will greatly improve our infrastructure, enhance the institution’s image, and create a better learning and working atmosphere,” the Rector said.
He further praised the Governor for prioritizing education and urged continued support for tertiary institutions across the state.
“The Kano State Polytechnic community is deeply grateful for this generous support and pledges to uphold the values of excellence and innovation promoted by this administration,” Dr. Farouk added.
In his closing remarks, he prayed for Almighty Allah to bless Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf with good health, wisdom, and strength to sustain his developmental strides for the benefit of Kano State and beyond.
