Gateway ICT Polytechnic Issues Urgent Notice on Multiple NELFUND/Bursary Payments — Deadline Set for Refund

The management of Gateway ICT Polytechnic has released an important notice to students regarding multiple disbursements under the NELFUND and institutional bursary scheme.
According to the official directive, the institution has identified cases where some students received the NELFUND or bursary payments more than once, including instances of double or even third disbursements. The polytechnic has therefore instructed all affected students to immediately report to the Bursary Unit for proper verification and resolution.
Students who fall into this category are required to present valid evidence of all payments received. The management emphasized that compliance is mandatory, and failure to report promptly may attract disciplinary or administrative actions.
As part of the corrective process, affected students are required to refund all excess payments to the designated institutional account on or before the stated deadline. After completing the refund, students must proceed to the Bursary Unit with proof of payment for confirmation.
This move is aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and proper management of student financial support schemes within the institution. Students are advised to act quickly to avoid complications that could affect their academic records or financial standing.
Below are the official details for the refund process:
REFUND DETAILS
• Bank Name: First City Monument Bank (FCMB)
• Account Number: 0206306028
• Account Name: The Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic Saapade
• Deadline for Refund: 7th May, 2026
All affected students are strongly advised to comply within the given timeframe and retain evidence of payment for documentation and clearance purposes.
