Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny Congratulates Newly Inaugurated SUG Executives

The Management, staff, and students of the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny have warmly congratulated the newly inaugurated executives of the Student Union Government (SUG), led by Comrade Oyenuga Joshua Oluwatosin as President. The inauguration marks a significant milestone for the Polytechnic, signaling fresh leadership, enhanced student welfare, and strengthened campus development initiatives.
The ceremony was conducted by Barr. Beatrice Ezekiel Hart of the Polytechnic’s Legal Department and witnessed by Comrade Egba Frank, Deputy Coordinator of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), alongside Comrade David Bariereka, the immediate past Secretary General of NANS.
The Management expressed confidence that the new executive team would lead with integrity, transparency, and a strong commitment to student development. They urged the leaders to serve with honesty, listen to students’ concerns, and implement policies that would promote unity, progress, and lasting impact on campus life.
In his statement, the Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Anthony Ogbe (SAR)(MCAI), highlighted that the inauguration reflects the trust and confidence students have placed in the new leaders and emphasized the importance of a dedicated, accountable, and visionary SUG administration in shaping the future of the institution.
The Polytechnic community looks forward to the SUG executive’s initiatives in enhancing student welfare, academic support, and campus engagement, reinforcing the Polytechnic’s commitment to inclusive leadership and sustainable development.
