EDE POLY Management Raises Alarm Over Threat to Kidnap Students

The management of the Federal polytechnic Ede, Osun state has raised the alarm over the threat to abduct students of the institution by kidnappers.
POLYTV gathered that the kidnappers are targeting the polytechnic students with the aim of getting money from their parents.
The school management disclosed this last week, warning students to be vigilant at all times.
The polytechnic Chief Security officer advises the students to avoid roaming about at night and avoid various drink joints in town till the end of October.

“Credible intelligence available to the Security Unit revealed that information was intercepted through a casual source who strongly warned the students to eschew themselves from nocturnal outing and restricted themselves within their various hostels rather than roaming aimlessly at the various drink’s joints in town…
“The students of Federal Polytechnic Ede were the targets of the Kidnappers/abductors with the aims and objectives of obtaining ransom from their parents and guardians of the victims before the end of October, 2022….
“Management team may wish to exploit her ingenuity to strongly warn the students to restrict their movement as occasioned by prevailing security situations.”
