Dr Zakir Naik Visits NSUK for Public Lecture.

On Thursday, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed as chief host received the world-renowned international scholar on comparative religions Dr. Zakir Naik and his son Shaikh Fariq Naik.

Dr. Zakir Naik delivered his lecture with the title  “Concept of God in Major World Religions” while Shaikh Fariq Naik’s lecture was titled “Islam the Solution for Humanity”.

The well-attended public lecture which took place at the convocation arena of the University had the visitor to the University and the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule represented by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State Barrister Muhammad Aliyu Ubandoma.

Other dignitaries who graced the occasion were his eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Saad III, the Emir of Keffi, and Chancellor to Nasarawa State University, Alhaji Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, the Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibril, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia, Professor Shehu Abdurrahman, and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Nasarawa State Chapter represented by the CAN Chairman of Keffi Local Government Area, Reverend Musa Kefas amongst many others who graced the public lecture.

The lecture was followed by an open question-and-answer session.
