ATAPOLY: Mass Comm. Department Appoints Newly Executives for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Department of Mass communication of Abubakar Tatari Ali polytechnic Bauchi has inaugurated its newly appointed executives of Mass communication Students’ Association (MACOSA) who are to run the affairs of the Department for the period of one year.

Head of Department (HOD) of mass communication malam Ahmad Abubakar, while unavailing the newly appointed executives which held at the Department’s Premises explained that, the appointment of the newly inaugurated excos was based on merit after they have undergone processes and scrutiny that qualifed their selection.He called on the executive members to justify the confidence repose in them

The HOD In Company of the Department’s lecturers includes; Malam Nazif Abba Pali, the Chairman Academic staff Union of polytechnic (ASUP) Atap Chapter, other lecturers are Maryam Abdu Gainaka the Department’s Exam officer, Abdurrashid Bala Tulu the program coordinator, and Abdul Ahmad Burra, as well as Abubakar Na alolo misau the Department’s Radio manager

The lecturers have unanimously advised the Newly inaugurated MACOSA executives to be just and fair in the discharge of their primary responsibility, while calling on them to prioritize the progress and development of their Department above their personal interests.

In his acceptance speech, the president Godiya Ibrahim Thankgod on behalf of the entire Executives  appreciated the Department for finding them worthy for the appointment, and pledged their Commitment to justify the confidence repose in them while calling on the Students to cooperate with the association for effective service delivery to humanity.

The newly appointed EXCOS  are Ibrahim Godiya Thankgod from HND 2 as the president, Rufai Shehu From HND 1 as vice president, Muhammad Ibrahim Kabir from HND 2 the as secretary General, Usman Dauda from ND 2 as the financial secretary.

however,Jamila Adamu from HND 2 will serve the position of Treasurer, Naziru Muhammadu from HND 2 as the Auditor General, Saminu Adamu from HND 2 as sports Director while Abubakar Muhammadu from HND 2 will steer the Public Reactions officer to piloting the affairs of the Department.

others are Dauda Mobzar Joy from HND 2 Joy as the welfare director, Umar  farouk Danmama from HND 2 as the organizing Secretary, Dodday Raymond as the Social director, Aminu Auwal as the Aluta Commandant, Khalid Gambo Ahmad and Bridget Mayam Benjamin as Mr. and Mrs MACOSA

the rest are Nura kaka, Saidu Nonno and Hassan sambo wunti all from HND 2 are to serve as Technical advisers while Class Representative of HND 2 Abdurrahman Abubakar Dawaki and other class reps would represent their classes at MACOSA level.

highlights of the inauguration was cheers and ovation from the entire mass communication Students in solidarity to their newly appointed Leaders.
