Polytechnic Students Warned to Avoid Osun Crisis as Tensions Escalate

In response to the ongoing crisis in Osun State, the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has issued a strong advisory urging all students to steer clear of the unrest and prioritize their safety.
In a statement released by Comrade Oyewunmi Festus Ayomide, the National President of NAPS, students were cautioned against any involvement in the political turmoil currently unfolding in the state. The association emphasized its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its members, warning that engaging in political conflicts could result in severe consequences such as physical harm, arrest, or damage to their academic and personal reputation.
“As students, our primary focus should be on our academic pursuits and personal development,” the statement read. “We urge all our students to prioritize their safety and well-being by staying away from the ongoing crisis in Osun State.”
The NAPS leadership reiterated the importance of focusing on education rather than being drawn into political disturbances. The statement concluded with a clear message: “Stay safe, stay focused, and stay away from the conflict.”
With tensions rising in Osun State, this advisory serves as a crucial reminder for students to remain vigilant and prioritize their future over political engagements that could put them at risk.
