UNILORIN Welcomes Returnee Students from Sudan

On Monday (December 4, 2023), our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, had the honour of meeting with the Concerned Parents of Nigerian Student Returnees from Sudan (ACPNSRS).
At the meeting, the Vice Chancellor was joined by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olubunmi Omotesho, and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Management Services), Prof. Suleiman Ambali.
Led by the dedicated Hajiya Asmau Yerima, the group expressed gratitude to the university management for extending a warm welcome to the students offered admission in the institution.
In a remarkable display of compassion, our Vice Chancellor directed the opening of the Undergraduate Portal in May this year, allowing applications for inter-university transfer to support Nigerian students unable to continue their education in Sudan due to the state of unrest in the country.
A big thank you to all involved for making education a beacon of hope!
