UNICROSS 2025/2026 Academic Calendar
The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially released its 2025/2026 first semester academic calendar, outlining key academic activities for students, staff, and stakeholders.
According to the calendar, arrival and registration for new students begin on Monday, 29th September 2025, followed by faculty and senate meetings to finalize the previous session’s results. Lectures for all students commence from Tuesday, 7th October 2025, with continuous assessments scheduled in two phases during November and December.
Highlight events include:
Matriculation ceremonies for new students on 9th and 10th December 2025 at Calabar, Ogoja, and Okuku campuses.
Convocation lecture and undergraduate convocation between 18th and 19th December 2025.
Postgraduate convocation on 20th December 2025.
After the Christmas and New Year break, students are expected to return by 5th January 2026 to prepare for examinations, which will run from 12th January to 6th February 2026. The semester officially ends on 6th February 2026, and students are required to vacate the hostels by 7th February 2026.
University authorities emphasize timely registration, participation in lectures, and compliance with deadlines to ensure smooth academic operations.
