KWASU Releases 2025/2026 Approved Academic Calendar

Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU) has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session following its 63rd Regular Senate Meeting.

According to the announcement signed by the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, the calendar outlines key academic activities for both Harmattan and Rain Semesters, including registration dates, lecture periods, examination weeks, and result considerations.

The Harmattan Semester kicks off with online registration and orientation on Monday, 29th September 2025, and will run until Saturday, 18th October 2025, with lectures beginning on Monday, 20th October 2025. Students are expected to complete their registration and participate in various academic activities leading up to examinations in January and February 2026.

The Rain Semester will begin with Add/Drop activities from Monday, 16th March 2026, followed by lectures starting on Monday, 23rd March 2026. The semester will conclude with examinations from Monday, 22nd June 2026 to Saturday, 18th July 2026, and final results will be released on Thursday, 20th August 2026.

The university management urged all staff, students, and the entire university community to take note of these dates and ensure strict compliance.
