Osun State Polytechnic Slams ₦30,000 Penalty for Late Registration — Students Warned

The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced that students who fail to register for the 2024/2025 First Semester courses on time will face a late registration penalty of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000).
In an internal memorandum issued on Monday, August 4, 2025, by the Registrar, Abiodun Oloyede, the institution expressed dissatisfaction over the large number of students who are yet to complete their course registration. According to the memo, the delay has been affecting the processing of examination results.
The management has directed that any student who remains unregistered as of the stated date will be required to pay the stipulated fine before they can complete their registration.
“All students are hereby informed accordingly,” the memo concluded.
This move serves as a stern warning to students to complete their registration promptly to avoid the hefty penalty.
