Management Urges Fresh Students to Avoid Frivolous Attitudes as AOPE Commences 2023/2024 Session

Following the approved Academic Calendar by the Board of Studies (BOS) of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, at its sitting on December 6, 2023, in the Institution’s BOS Chamber after extensive consideration, the institution officially commenced the 2023/2024 academic session today, December 18, 2023.

As clearly stated in the approved Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 Session, the first semester activities begin today with the resumption of fresh students, and registration commenced immediately. It will run for a period of four weeks, from December 18, 2023, to Friday, January 12, 2024. Fresh students are expected to be duly acquainted with the laid-down rules and regulations of the institution for one week.

Resumption Date for Fresh Students: Monday, December 18, 2023
Orientation Date for Fresh Students (1 week): Monday, December 18, 2023 – Friday, December 22, 2023
Resumption Date for Returning Students: Tuesday, January 2, 2024

Registration for all Students (4 weeks): Monday, December 18, 2023 – Friday, January 12, 2024
Late Registration with Penalty (2 weeks): Monday, January 15, 2024 – Sunday, January 28, 2024
First Semester Lectures (12 weeks): Tuesday, January 2, 2024 – Friday, March 22, 2024

Mid-Semester Examination (1 week): Monday, February 5, 2024 – Friday, February 9, 2024
First Semester Examinations (3 weeks): Monday, March 25, 2024 – Friday, April 12, 2024

Marking and Grading of Examination Scripts (3 weeks): Monday, April 22, 2024 – Friday, May 10, 2024
Faculty Consideration of Examination Results (3 days): Monday, May 13, 2024 – Wednesday, May 15, 2024

Board of Studies meeting for consideration of Examination Results (2 days): Thursday, May 16, 2024 – Friday, May 17, 2024
End of 2023/2024 First Semester Academic Session: Friday, May 17, 2024.

Speaking with the fresh students, Dr. Gbade Akinteye, Ag. Rector of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, admonished them to be guided by the good name and integrity of the institution. He emphasized that their primary objectives should be academic excellence, and the management will not tolerate any act of indiscipline from students.
