GBOKOPOLY Joins NBTE Digital Platform Workshop in Kaduna


Representatives from Gboko Polytechnic (GBOKOPOLY) took part in the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) Digital Platform Sensitization Workshop held in Kaduna.
The workshop, aimed at educating polytechnics and stakeholders on the benefits and usage of the NBTE digital platform, attracted participants from institutions across Nigeria.
Representing GBOKOPOLY were Amb. Dr. Ayua Austine, Director of ICT, and Mr. Kapu Dondo, Head of the Computer Science Department. They joined other attendees in exploring the platform’s features, designed to enhance technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in Nigeria.
Participants engaged in sessions covering an overview of the NBTE digital platform, its advantages, and practical navigation tips. The training was facilitated by NBTE experts and other industry professionals.
NBTE Executive Secretary Prof. Idris Bugaje described the platform as a “game-changer for TVET institutions in Nigeria,” emphasizing its role in managing data, tracking student progress, and providing access to essential resources.
GBOKOPOLY’s involvement highlights its commitment to adopting digital solutions to improve educational standards. With the NBTE digital platform set to enhance efficiency across TVET institutions, the polytechnic is well-positioned to leverage this technology for academic excellence.
