Forensic Ambassadors Academy Holds Security Awareness Lecture at Gboko Polytechnic, Plans Campus Forensic Club

Staff and students of Gboko Polytechnic, Gboko, are participating in a security awareness lecture organized by the Forensic Ambassadors Academy as part of efforts to promote safety and security consciousness within the institution.

The delegation, led by Ambassador Abraham Kwaghfan, Reverend Ambassador Godwin Iyorayiah, PhD, and Ambassador Mamfe Akula, is engaging members of the Polytechnic community on practical security measures needed to navigate today’s increasingly unpredictable security environment.

The awareness programme is designed to educate participants on personal safety, crime prevention and the importance of remaining vigilant in both academic and social settings.

According to the organizers, the initiative seeks to equip staff and students with valuable knowledge that will help them identify potential security threats and respond appropriately when faced with emergency situations.

As part of the visit, the Forensic Ambassadors Academy also disclosed plans to establish a Forensic Club at the main campus of Gboko Polytechnic.

The proposed club is expected to provide students with opportunities to learn about forensic science, security awareness, crime prevention and related fields while encouraging leadership and community engagement.

Organizers believe the initiative will help nurture students who are passionate about safety, investigation and public service, while promoting a culture of security consciousness across the institution.

Staff and students have been encouraged to actively participate in the lecture and support the proposed establishment of the Forensic Club, which is expected to contribute to a safer and more informed campus environment.
