Federal Polytechnic Idah (Idah Poly) Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 Academic Session
This is to inform all students of the Federal polytechnic Idah, Kogi State, that the school management has announced the commencement of academic activities for the 2023/204 academic session.
Following the release of the approved academic calendar for the 2023/2024 session, academic activities for the first semester will commence on Monday 30th October 2023.
All the newly admitted students are to resume on Saturday 21st October 2023 as lectures will commence on Monday 30th October 2023.
Registration and Lectures will begin for returning students on Monday 27th November 2023.
End of the year break will commence from 21st December 2023 to 6th January 2024.
Orientation program for the newly admitted students has been fixed for 17th – 19th January 2024.
The 2023/2024 matriculation ceremony will hold on 20th January 2024.
First semester 2023/2024 examination excluding SIWES students will commence from 12th – 24th February 2024.
First semester break – 25th February to 29th March 2024.
Second semester 2023/2024 academic session for NDII Non SIWES students, HNDII, NDI and HNDI students will commence on Saturday 30th March 2024.
Registration for the second semester 2023/2024 academic session will commence 1st April 2024. Lectures will begin on Monday 8th April 2024 while registration is expected to kick-start from April 1st 2024.
Second semester 2023/2024 examination will commence from 1st to 13th July 2024.
2024/2025 academic session will commence on the 7th of September 2024.
