Federal Polytechnic Ayede Acting Rector Receives WITED Award of Excellence for Outstanding Leadership

The Acting Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State, Engr. Dr. Temilola Morufat Adepoju, has been honoured with an Award of Excellence by the Women in Technical Education and Development (WITED), Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji Chapter, in recognition of her exceptional leadership and contributions to technical education.

The prestigious award was presented during the inauguration of the WITED Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji Chapter, the swearing-in of its pioneer executive members and the official launch of the chapter’s day-care centre, where Dr. Adepoju served as the keynote speaker.

The award was presented by the Chairperson of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji, Barrister (Mrs.) Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu, alongside the institution’s Rector, Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku.

According to the organizers, the recognition celebrates Dr. Adepoju’s visionary leadership, dedication to educational development, commitment to women empowerment and outstanding role in advancing technical and vocational education in Nigeria.

Speaking during the event, the leadership of WITED described the Acting Rector as an accomplished administrator and academic whose commitment to institutional transformation continues to inspire professionals across the country’s tertiary education sector.

The event also highlighted the commitment of the Governing Council and Management of Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji to recognizing excellence and promoting quality leadership that contributes to the growth of higher education in Nigeria.
