Federal Polytechnic Bali Hosts TETFund-Sponsored TERAS Capacity Development Workshop
Federal Polytechnic Bali has commenced a two-day Awareness, Sensitization and Capacity Development Workshop on the Tertiary Education Research Application and Service (TERAS) Platform, sponsored by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
The workshop was officially declared open by the Deputy Rector, Mallam Abdulrahman Saidu, who represented the Rector at the event.
In his welcome address, the Deputy Rector received principal officers, members of the Academic Board, representatives of TETFund, the TERAS technical team, resource persons and other participants attending the capacity-building programme.
He commended TETFund for its continued commitment to strengthening tertiary education in Nigeria through digital innovation and institutional support.
According to him, the TERAS platform is expected to improve research management, enhance access to TETFund interventions, promote transparency and strengthen collaboration among tertiary institutions across the country.
He urged participants to take full advantage of the training by actively engaging in all sessions, mastering the use of the TERAS platform and sharing the knowledge acquired with colleagues in their various departments and units.
The workshop marks another step in Federal Polytechnic Bali’s commitment to embracing digital transformation, improving research administration and enhancing institutional capacity for academic excellence.
