Federal Poly Idah Rector Promise to Tackle all Challenges faced by Students – SUG

The students union of the Federal Polytechnic Idah, Kogi state recently met with the Rector over some challenges being faced by the polytechnic students.
Some of the issues raised during the meeting were epilepsy power supply, shortage of water, insecurity among others.
The Rector commended the SUG for their efforts and has promised to look into those challenges brought before him.
According to a statement obtained by POLYTV from the SUG President.
“The SUG President, Comr. Ogwu Thomas in his address to the Rector articulated the challenges facing the students such as: power supply, water supply, insecurity on campus, the need to renovate some hostels, student’s general welfare e.t.c and he equally call on the Rector to pay urgent attention to the above mentioned challenges….
“The Rector, Dr. Y. B. Usman commend the students’ Union Government for their sacrifices and equally told the students to be law abiding as arrangements has been put in place to tackle some of those challenge.”
“The President, Comr. Ogwu Thomas in his vote of thanks appreciate the management and assured the Rector that there would be peace on campus during his tenure as the President and he will also work with his exco to cooperate and support the Rector to move the Polytechnic to a greater heights.”
