Don’t Pay school Fees yet, We’re still negotiating- Kwara Poly SUG

The students union of the Kwara State polytechnic, Ilorin have again advised all students both the Indigene and non indigene to suspend all payment of school fees pending when all issues regarding school fee increment will be addressed.
The union disclosed that their agreement with the school management was to open the school portal for Indigene students only pending when the issues of school fee increment for non Indigene students will be adjusted but the school management went ahead to reopen the school fee portal for both.
The union advised the students to hold on payments as they are still negotiating with the school management.
“Distinguish Kwarapolites, it has come to the attention of the Students’ Union Government that the portal for the school fees payment has been reopened for both Indigene and non-indegene, this is contrary to the agreement we had with the management.

“After our meeting with the management yesterday, our agreement was for the portal to be opened for only the indigene while that of the non indigene be suspended until the proposed adjustment is effected…
“It is therefore surprising that the portal was reopened for the non-indigenes.”
“We hereby urged the students not to pay the school fees until the union is done with her negotiation. Both the indigene and non-indigene should hold on. We will continue our dialogue with the management until the right thing is done.”
