ATAPOLY SUG President Bows Out of Office, Say the polytechnic is the Best

The Outgoing Student Union President of the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAPOLY), Bauchi, Comrade Umar Abdullahi has bowed out of office following the conclusion of the 2021/2022 academic session.

Comrade Umar thanked the polytechnic students and management for giving him the opportunity to serve which according to him is the happiness moments of his life and performed excellently as the Union president.

The Outgoing SUG President charges the newly appointed executives not to dissapoint the expectations of the students as he urged them to continue the mantle of leadership from where his administration stopped. He maintained that ATAPOLY is the best polytechnic in the North East.

“Dear incumbent SUG representatives, always note that ATAPOLY is one of the best polytechnic in North Eastern part of Nigeria that have been maintaining a good name and legacies annually. My administration has contributed immensely in making sure that such that such name never got a stain thereby trending the name through Students unionism in our own capacity as a representatives. we contributed to the development of the institution through quality leadership representation and as well altered the tapestry of Students unionism to a good shape and an appreciating height…

“I urge you all to take up from where the current administration has stopped so as to continue maintaining this formidable achievement thereby showing good examples to others. maintaining laws and order governing the institutions. giving a quality representation to the Students and as well making the welfarism of the students as the topmost priority of your administration.”

In his farewell message to the polytechnic students, Comrade Umar said “During my tenure as Students union President, i was not well acquainted with what leadership is all about. i was not well acquainted or know on how to treat masses not untill i took the mantle of leadership to lead a congregation whose zeals is to achieve the same goal with me in Educational environs…

“At the course of my service for the past 5years and the most recent times of my leadership positions, i have learn and relearn on what leadership is all about. i have learnt on how to treat people of diverse status and trait. i have learnt on how to mingle with above me or of high personalities..

“Today all glory and adoration goes to one but to the quintessential God Almighty who guard and guide me right to accomplished such leadership positions with problem hitch-free.”

He concluded by thanking the school management, staff and the polytechnic students at large for their support and contribution to his administration as students union leader.
