2025/2026 Academic Session Duration

The 2025/2026 academic session will run from March 23, 2026, to December 18, 2026, covering a period of 9 months.

Registration for Fresh and Returning Students

Registration for both fresh and returning students will commence on March 23, 2026, and end on April 13, 2026, lasting for 3 weeks.

First Semester Activities

First Semester Lectures

First semester lectures will begin on March 23, 2026, and continue until July 10, 2026, spanning 16 weeks.

Orientation and Matriculation for Fresh Students

Orientation and matriculation activities for newly admitted students are scheduled to hold from June 12, 2026, to June 13, 2026, for a period of 2 days.

Submission and Moderation of First Semester Question Papers

Departments are expected to submit and moderate first semester examination question papers between June 1, 2026, and June 21, 2026, covering 3 weeks.

First Semester Examination

The first semester examination will take place from July 13, 2026, to July 31, 2026, lasting 3 weeks.

First Semester Break

Students will proceed on the first semester break from August 1, 2026, to August 15, 2026, for a duration of 2 weeks.

Second Semester Activities

Second Semester Lectures

Second semester lectures are scheduled to commence on August 17, 2026, and end on November 22, 2026, covering 15 weeks.

Moderation and Compilation of First Semester Results

The moderation and compilation of first semester results will take place between August 24, 2026, and September 13, 2026, for 3 weeks.

Academic Board Meeting for First Semester Results

The Academic Board meeting for the consideration and approval of first semester results will hold from September 22, 2026, to September 24, 2026, lasting 3 days.

Submission and Moderation of Second Semester Question Papers

Submission and moderation of second semester examination question papers will begin on October 5, 2026, and end on October 25, 2026, for a period of 2 weeks.

SIWES Orientation

Students participating in the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) will undergo orientation on November 11, 2026.

Second Semester Examination

The second semester examination is scheduled to hold from November 27, 2026, to December 18, 2026, lasting 3 weeks.

The SIWES exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session will commence on December 21, 2026, and end on March 26, 2027, spanning 16 weeks.

The Academic Board meeting for the approval of second semester results is scheduled for February 16, 2027, to February 18, 2027, lasting 3 days.

Commencement of 2026/2027 Academic Session

The institution has announced that the 2026/2027 academic session will officially commence on February 22, 2027.
