Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Opens Admission for 2025/2026 Degree Programmes

Exciting news for prospective students! Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP), Bauchi, in affiliation with the prestigious Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its various degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The Directorate of Degree Programmes at ATAP invites applications from qualified candidates for a variety of innovative and career-driven courses across three major departments:

Department of Technology Education:

• B.Tech Automobile Technology Education
• B.Tech Building Technology Education
• B.Tech Electrical/Electronic Technology Education
• B.Tech Metalwork Technology Education
• B.Tech Woodwork Technology Education

Department of Science Education:

• B.Tech Computer Science Education
• B.Tech Biology Education
• B.Tech Integrated Science Education
• B.Tech Chemistry Education
• B.Tech Mathematics Education

Department of Vocational Education:

• B.Tech Business Education (Options: Management or Accounting)
• B.Tech Agricultural Education

Admission Requirements:

• UTME (100 Level): Candidates must score at least 160 points in their JAMB UTME and make Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi (affiliated to ATBU Bauchi) their first choice of institution, along with choosing the relevant course.
• Direct Entry (200 Level): Candidates must have five (5) O’Level credits in the relevant courses and hold either an NCE, National Diploma (ND), or equivalent qualifications with at least a merit pass. Lower pass holders must have two years of post-qualification experience.

How to Apply:

Applicants should submit a copy of their JAMB UTME or Direct Entry application to the ATAP Directorate of Degree Programmes.
NOTE: Candidates who already applied to other institutions in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME/DE can still apply by changing their institution and course to Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi (affiliated to ATBU Bauchi).
