Uromi Federal Polytechnic Opens 2025/2026 Admissions

The National Institute of Construction Technology and Management, Uromi, Edo State, has officially announced the commencement of admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session. As one of Nigeria’s prominent federal polytechnics, the institution is now accepting applications into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.

Prospective students can apply for any of the following ND programmes:

- Welding & Fabrication Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering

- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science

- Architecture Technology
- Building Technology
- Surveying and Geo-Informatics
- Estate Management
- Quantity Surveying
Available HND Programmes
For those pursuing higher-level qualifications, the institution offers HND programmes in:
- Cyber Security and Data Protection
- Software and Web Development
- Electronics and Telecommunications
- Power and Machines
- Civil Engineering
- Architectural Technology
- Building Technology
- Business Administration and Management
Admission Requirements
ND Programmes:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of five O’level credits including English Language, Mathematics, and three relevant subjects.
- A minimum UTME score of 100 is required.
HND Programmes:
- Applicants must have five O’level credits including English and Mathematics.
- They must have graduated with at least a Lower Credit in a relevant ND course and completed a one-year Industrial Training (I.T.) or provide evidence of two years I.T. experience for those with a Pass grade.
- Industrial Training must be fully documented and signed by the organization.

Additional Information
The Polytechnic also offers part-time programmes. These do not require JAMB, but candidates must register as part-time students. JAMB admission may be offered based on availability and discretion of the institution.
