University of Uyo (UNIUYO) Approved Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 Academic Session

The Management of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Akwa Ibom State has released the approved academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.

2022/2023 academic session will commence on Monday 2nd October 2023.

Lectures will commence for all undergraduate and postgraduate students on Monday 2nd October 2023.

Orientation for new students – 16th to 20th October 2023.

The 1st semester examination for all studs will hold from January 15th to 2nd February 2024.

Second semester 2022/2023 academic session will commence on Monday 19th February 2024.

Second semester lectures for all undergraduate and postgraduate students – 19th February to 10th May 2024.

Second semester 2022/2023 examination for all students – 27th May to 14th June 2024.

2023/2024 academic session will commence on Monday 29th July 2024.

Below are the details of the academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session.

1	4^th – 29^th September 2023	Marking of scripts, uploading of results and screening of new students for 2022/2023 session
2	2^nd October 2023	Commencement of first semester 2022/2023 session
3	2^nd – 20^th October 2023	Registration without penalty
4	12nd October – 22^nd December 2023	Lectures for all undergraduate / postgraduate students
5	16^th – 20^th October 2023	Orientation for new students

6	October 23^rd –November 3^rd 2023	Registration with penalty for all students
7	December 23^rd 2023 – January 5^th, 2024	Christmas break
8	8^th – 12th January 2024	Revision exercise for 2022/2023 1^st semester examination for all students
9	15^th January – 2^nd February 2024	1^st semester examination for all students
10	5^th – 16^th February 2024	First semester break

SECONS SEMESTER 2022/2023 ACDEMIC SESSION

11	19^th February 2024	Commencement of second semester 2022/2023 academic session
12	19^th February – 8^th March 2024	Registration without penalty
13	11^th – 22^nd March 2024	Registration with penalty
14	February 19^th – 10^th May 2024	Lectures for all undergraduate / postgraduate students
15	13^th – 17^th May 2024	Students’ week

16	20^th – 24^th May 2024	Revision exercise for 2022/2023 2^nd semester examination for all students
17	May 27^th – 14^th June 2024	Second semester examination for all students
18	17^th June 26^th July 2024	Long vacation for all students
19	17^th – 26^th July 2024	Commencement of 1^st semester 2023/2024 academic session
